I have been consulting full time with FileMaker Pro since 1998 but have been working with the program since 1989 from Filemaker 2 to Filemaker 11.
I have extensive experience with FileMaker Pro (as well as other databases like MySQL) and have worked in in a wide range of environments helping to give a unique insight into a business’s technology strategy. I have set up and deployed FileMaker solutions for Net Administration, Development & Research, Nonprofits, Project tracking and so much more.
I also have years of experience in web integration with MySQL systems and Filemaker, a much better way to manage and control data driven web content.
I specialize in working with existing projects to enhance and upgrade them to take the full advantage of the relational and interface features of FileMaker Pro. I worked in an environment of interface design for several year at Clement Mok designs/Studio Archetype. Clement was the creative director for Apple in the old days and he assisted with the redesign of Windows interface, among other projects. Their work with information design helped to define the way I do business using the DADI
Process.
I have developed various systems for integrating Filemaker with active web sites using MySQL, and many Web technologies with Filemaker systems. Filemaker can actively update web data, integrate with it, import and export to and from the web, as well as control Web interactions directly via PHP, XML, MySQL.
