All right, it’s a mole rat, which just happens to be the creature that’s genome has most recently been sequenced by scientists in order to discover the secrets behind the impressive survival skills that allow it to live a whopping twenty-six years longer than other rats, and resist strokes and cancer to boot.
The thing is, anyone who gives a mole rat’s bum about Harry Potter is going to see the opening tonight, so cut this writer some slack and hope this is the beginning of the end of cancer. A far more memorable way to spend an evening, right? (Whatever…)

We know there’s no one out there who would ever be tempted to break the law when it comes to fireworks, but with all the people hitting the open road for the Fourth of July, you may not be aware of what the attitude toward fireworks is at your vacation destination. Pity if you miss out on the fun of playing the “Firework or gunshot?” game, but not everyone can be so lucky.
